512 bit Read/Write Contactless Identification Device-The EM4305 key card is a CMOS integrated circuit intended for use in electronic Read/Write RF transponders.
EM4305 Key Card
1. Chips: EM4305
2. Dimension: CR80 or as customer's requirement
3. Frequency: 125KHz
4. Standard ISO11785
5. Material: PVC or ABS
6. Data saved time: 10 years
7. Options: Signature panel, LOCO/HICO Magnetic Stripe, embossing letter and number, barcode, sequential
numbering, Gold/Silver card, frosted card.
8. Application: EM4305 Key Card is widely used in Parking lot system and hotel door locks, for its long
inductive distance(70-2000px), ISO Thin EM Card is widely used in Access Control System, Time and attendance,
parking lot and consuming system.
It is suitable for low cost solutions like animal taggingapplications. The IC communication protocol is
compatible with EM4469/4569 family. In EM4305 version, the circuit comes with enlarged pads and gold
bumps for the two coil inputs. These pads are intended for direct antenna connection without need of a
module support. In addition to the other available resonnant capacitor values, the EM4305 is also available
with 330pF.The IC reads out data from its internal EEPROM and sends it out by switching on and off a
resistive load in parallel to the coil using a large modulation index. Commands and EEPROM data updates can
be executed by 100% AM modulation of the 125 kHz magnetic field. The EM4305 supports several Bi-phase
and Manchester data encodings.
The operating modes are stored in the EEPROM configuration word. All EEPROM words can be write-protected
by setting protection bits. The IC contains a factory programmed 32 bit UID number.
The IC is powered by picking the energy from a continuous 125 kHz magnetic field via an external coil, which
together with the integrated capacitor form a resonant circuit. The IC read out data from its internal EEPROM
and sends it out by switching on and off a resistive load in parallel to the coil using a large modulation index.
Commands and EEPROM data updates can be executed by 100% AM modulation of the 125 kHz magnetic
field.
